Hotel Employee Appreciation Day

A last minute booking found me heading off to a small family fun day at a local hotel. They had a small bounce house, catered food and face painting. I was asked to paint whatever the guests wanted. Requests started coming in for cats, sharks, snakes, dinosaurs, dragons, butterflies, tigers and even a gorilla! Some wanted small cheek art others wanted a full face design. Every face was a different design. Children and adults got into line to be painted into their fantasy creation. After the children got out of the chair they would take off running around showing everyone their face paint design. Then they would enter into a their own little imaginary would pretending they were what was painted on their face. They played together making new friends for hours. It was such a joy to watch them playing together. No matter if you would like only face painting designs to match the theme of your party or let your guests pick whatever design they want we can provide it. Tie Dye at Macy's

I was in shock the day I answered the phone last year when the lady on the other end identified herself from Macy's! She wanted to hire me to tie dye African dresses at an up coming event IN Macy's store in the Short Pump Mall, Virginia. Tie dye t-shirts are always in demand. Everyone loves them and wants one. We normally teach your guests how to make their own at your party. We use a system that allows guests to tie dye without fear of making a mess. None the less I was very nervous as I was setting up the day of the event next to a rack of white dresses with price tags of $200! I mean the rack was at the edge of my table! Each guest picks the colors they want to use so not only are the colors different but so are the twists. Three colors were provided to make a beautiful rainbow effect or they could pick only one or two colors. The guests had the option to twist the dress themselves or I would do it for them. Most decided to have me twist them after showing me where to put the center of the swirl. There are several different designs to be made using tie dye. The most popular is the swirl. A few others are a 'V' design, a 'spider' and a peace sign. Everyone enjoyed participating in making their own dresses to take home! Glitter Tattoo Family Fun Party

Due to a family's concern for the weather forecast of rain on Sunday they called Airbrush Gypsy looking for something fun to do. They have a family dinner get together the second Sunday of each month. If any of the grandchildren are having a birthday that month then the birthday is celebrated at this time. They were having a pool party if it didn't rain so they wanted to know what their options were that would not get ruined in water. We talked about airbrush tattoos and glitter tattoos. They decided to glitter tattoos because they were different. The grandkids were all excited as they waited for their turn to get a glitter tattoo. Did they want the horse, fairy, dragon, rose, unicorn.... or .... oh, goodness there are so many choices! When someone picked their design all of the children would gather around to watch the glitter magic! They would comment about how did I know where to put the glitter because the design was invisible. Over and over I heard ohhh and ahhhs as they watched the glitter tattoo begin to appear. For an hour they all waited to watch each kid tattoo develop.
